Ashya Burgess

Ashya Burgess is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Cancer Center at Mayo Clinic. She is passionate about health equity and community engaged research efforts. She is particularly interested in translational and transformative research that bridges social and health care gaps in underserved communities. She volunteers her time with the FAITH! program and assists with a variety of tasks including social media management and writing the program’s quarterly newsletters. Volunteering with FAITH! has reinvigorated her passion for social justice.
